This work reflects on the fleeting nature of memory and the inevitability of forgetting that often accompanies age. The painted face and immersion in water pay homage to Yoruba traditions and deities, where water symbolizes both life and the passage of time. Withering is a meditation on holding on to what fades, balancing personal memory with ancestral connection.
